New Lexington residents are invited to drop off leaves that have been bagged and tied from October 17, 2016 through November 30, 2016 at the designated location at the New Lexington Street Garage next to Arethusa Springs Park on Fowlers Lane. PLEASE DO NOT PLACE OR RAKE LEAVES INTO THE ROADWAYS!


The Village of New Lexington will be holding a BEST DRESSED HALLOWEEN WINDOW contest for businesses within the Village. The rules are simple: decorate your doors, storefronts, windows, wherever you can display something with a Halloween theme. The contest beings Wednesday, October 5 and will end with the judging on October 30. The winning business will be announced in the November 2 issue of the Perry County Tribune and will receive a catered lunch for their office. Get started and use your imagination! The Village of New Lexington is holding a HALLOWEEN DECORATING CONTEST for residents within the Village. The contest will run from now to October 30. Judging will take place on October 30 and the winner will be announced in the November 2 issue of the Perry County Tribune. Winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card. State Route 13 Restrictions to Begin Monday, June 13th

Beginning Monday, June 13th State Route 13/North Main Street will be restricted in New Lexington between Union and Factory Street for a bridge repair. Traffic will be maintained with a temporary signal.  Drivers should use caution and expect delays. The project is expected to be completed November 15, 2016.



The Village of New Lexington is currently accepting applications for Pool Manager for the 2017 Season.  Applications can be obtained at the Municipal Building 215 S. The Village of New Lexington hereby gives notice of its intent to file an application for financial assistance with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development for construction of sewer treatment facilities.  This notice is published in accordance with Rural Development regulations contained in RUS Instruction 1780.19(a).  The proposed project involves the construction and improvements of the Wastewater Treatment Plant to serve the Village.
