ATTENTION MAIN STREET BUSINESSES:
To preserve our beautiful new Streetscape, the Village has requested an opinion on the type of de-icers (salts) that are safe to use on the new sidewalks. We have been advised that magenesium chloride products are NOT recommended. Calcuium chloride, while still harmful to the concrete, is the best solution for de-icing. Please DO NOT OVER-SALT areas. Place as small an amount as possible. There should not be a sand or gravel texture on the sidewalk after salting. We appreciate your cooperation in taking good care of the new sidewalks so they can be enjoyed for many years to come!

IT IS WITH A HEAVY HEART THAT THE
NEW LEXINGTON FALL FESTIVAL COMMITTEE
HAS DECIDED TO CANCEL THE 2020 FALL FESTIVAL.
THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC HAS PLACED MANY RESTRICTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS ON THE FESTIVAL AND COMMITTEE MAKING IT DIFFICULT FOR THE COMMITTEE TO CONFIDENTLY PROVIDE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE PATRONS OF THE FESTIVAL.
WE GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT AND UNDERSTANDING IN MAKING THIS DIFFICULT DECISION.
WE HOPE THAT YOU STAY SAFE DURING THESE TRYING TIMES AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE 2021 FESTIVAL.

Thank you,
Fall Festival Chairwoman Susan Boyle

The Hometown Hero Banner Project has been suspended until Spring 2021 due to the Streetscape Project on Main Street in New Lexington. No new banners will be produced until that time. Applications may be picked up at the Administration Office, but payments and applications will not be accepted until Spring 2021. Banners that were previously displayed on Main Street will be moved to West Brown Street and Swigart Street so that we can continue to honor our Veterans. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
