The Parks and Recreation Committee is currently seeking a New Lexington resident to serve on the Committee. Committee members are volunteers that serve without pay. The Committee discusses items relating to the parks, swimming pool, 4th of July Celebration, etc. Anyone interested may email nladmin2@rrohio.com. Part-time Patrolman/Property Maintenance Officer

The Village of New Lexington Police Department is currently accepting applications for a Part-time Patrolman/Property Maintenance Officer. Applications can be obtained at the Municipal Building, 215 S. Main St., New Lexington OH 43764. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, Ohio Peace Officers Certification, and a valid driver’s license. The Village of New Lexington is currently accepting applications for Pool Manager for the 2017 Season.  Applications can be obtained at the Municipal Building 215 S. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF INTENT TO FILE AN APPLICATION

The Village of New Lexington hereby gives notice of its intent to file an application for financial assistance with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development for construction of sewer treatment facilities.  This notice is published in accordance with Rural Development regulations contained in RUS Instruction 1780.19(a).  The proposed project involves the construction and improvements of the Wastewater Treatment Plant to serve the Village.

A copy of the preapplication to USDA Rural Development is available for review at the following location by appointment:
